Does my timber need to acclimatise?
Yes. Coastal Flooring insist that any solid timber floor installed is done so in a specific manner to ensure you have the best finish possible. All solid timbers and fully installed in your home and left for a minimum of two weeks, after this acclimatisation period the floor is sanded and 2 coats of polish are applied.
